Lion Coins by 3 Oaks Gaming is a three-reel, five-line slot released in March 2024. The game uses a Chinese-inspired setting with lion-dance imagery, gold coin symbols, lanterns, and mountain scenery. Its structure is compact, with a 3x3 grid and a focus on coin collection mechanics rather than a traditional free spins format.
Key features include a Wild symbol in the form of a lion-dance head, a Collect symbol on the middle reel, and Bonus coins on the outer reels. Landing two Bonus symbols with one Collect symbol triggers the HOLD & WIN BONUS, which begins with three respins. During the feature, the Collect symbol gathers the values of visible coins, while new Bonus symbols can reset the respins counter.
Players can use the demo version to play for free and study the rules before playing for real money. The jackpot system includes Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand prizes, with the Lion coin also acting as a progress meter that fills to activate the bonus round.
