South of the Border

South of the Border by Ainsworth is a 5-reel, 25-payline online slot with a 96.5% RTP and stakes from 1 to 40. The game uses a Mexican-inspired carnival setting, with themed symbols including a WILD mariachi character, cactus, cocktail, hot sauce bottle and sun icons.

The demo version is available to play for free, which lets users practice before playing for real money. The interface shows standard slot features such as wilds that substitute for other symbols and scatters that may trigger bonus play. On-screen help panels also outline the paytable and symbol rules.

South of the Border includes tiered bonus indicators labelled Mini Bonus, Minor Bonus, Major Bonus and Grand, along with a card-style substitute and scatter feature. The layout also shows a bonus-wheel style panel and the usual spin controls, making the structure easy to follow in a free demo session.
