LooneyPop™ is a video slot from AvatarUX, released on 23 February 2023. It uses a ways format, 5 reels and PopWins™ alongside ZapReel™ mechanics, with a stated win potential of up to 50,000x. The game carries high volatility and an RTP listed at 96%, 94% or 90% depending on the version.
The theme centres on a mad professor who creates monsters in a cartoon-style laboratory. ZapReel™ sits above the main grid as a horizontal rewards reel that can add features such as multipliers, expanding wins, synced reels and split symbols. Each spin refreshes the rewards shown, so the feature set can change from one turn to the next.
Players can use the demo version to play for free and practice before playing for real money. Bonus features include a Gamble Wheel that can extend free spins, a Buy Bonus MAX option for immediate access to the extended mode, and Free Spins that begin at 6 and can increase to 18. During free spins, the reels can expand up to 9 symbols high.
