Tortuga CodeX is a five-reel slot from Belatra Games with a pirate theme, 25 paylines, and medium-high volatility. The game uses wild symbols that can substitute for other icons, while scatter symbols trigger the main bonus features. The listed RTP is 96.06%, with bets ranging from 0.25 to 6.4.
A special Additional Reel runs above the main grid and spins in sync with the reels. It shows wilds, pirate icons, and numbers from one to nine, which can become multipliers in the bonus game when three or more scatters land. This setup is central to the slot’s coded treasure-hunt structure, where symbols interact to build stronger winning combinations.
The bonus round starts with three or more scatters and presents players with chests containing rewards such as win boosters, multipliers, or a choice to continue or stop. The game also includes a Buy Bonus feature and a Bet Plus 60% option that raises the stake and increases the chance of triggering the bonus. A demo version is available to play for free and practice before playing for real money.
