Black Gold is a 5-reel, 30-payline slot from Betsoft, released in 2016 with a Western oilfield theme. The game uses left-to-right wins, medium volatility, and an RTP of 94.31%. Its symbols include cowboys, horses, oil pumps, drills and barns, all set against a rural frontier backdrop.
The demo version is available for players who want to play for free and practice before playing for real money. A key feature is Nighttime Free Spins Mode, triggered by three or more Barn symbols. In this round, the Barn becomes a Wild and can substitute for other symbols, with win multipliers that can rise to 10x.
Other bonus features include Drilling for Oil, a click-me sequence triggered by three Drill symbols, and a Higher or Lower Bonus Round started by three or more Oil Pump symbols. In that round, the player predicts whether the next number will be higher or lower, with the feature ending after four correct guesses or four misses.
