Book of Cats is a six-reel slot from BGAMING set in an Ancient Egyptian scene built around Bastet, the cat goddess. The game uses a 6x3 layout, high volatility, and a reported RTP range of 96.99%. Players can use the demo version to play for free and practice before playing for real money.
The symbol set includes the Golden Book, which acts as a scatter and substitute, alongside themed icons such as the cat deity, the cat mask, the blue ankh, and a pharaoh figure. A key mechanic is the locked sixth reel, which can expand to complete winning lines when matching symbols land in the correct position. Winning combinations are based on paylines and can run across two to six matching symbols.
Free spins are triggered by three or more Golden Book symbols. During the bonus, the sixth reel is fully unlocked and one selected symbol becomes expanding for the round. The game also includes a Risk Game with color and suit choices after a win, adding an optional gamble feature to the base slot.
