Icy Cool by Boldplay is a winter-themed slot set in Antarctica, built on a 4x5 reel layout with cluster pays. Matching symbols need to land in groups of five adjacent icons to create a win, rather than on fixed paylines. The game uses a cascading wins mechanic, so winning symbols disappear and new ones drop into place within the same spin if further clusters form.
The logo symbol acts as a wild and can substitute for regular icons to complete winning combinations. At the start of each round, one reel position is highlighted at random; if a wild lands there, adjacent reel symbols can also convert into wilds. Penguins are among the highest-value symbols in the game, contributing to the larger cluster payouts.
A demo version is available, allowing players to play for free and practice before playing for real money. Icy Cool has an RTP of 92.4% and a bet range from 0.2 to 280, which may be useful for reviewing the game's pace and bonus features before real stakes are involved.
