Route 777 by ELK Studios is a three-reel slot set on a desert highway theme, with a classic fruit-machine structure and a modern dot-matrix interface. The game uses 17 ways to win and a high-volatility format, with visible symbols including 7s, BARs, cherries, lemons, cactus and skulls.
The rules include an Overtake Respin feature, which is triggered by matching hits on the first two reels and awards five respins. A Route 777 free spins bonus is activated by three skull symbols anywhere on the reels, starting with five free spins and allowing extra spins during the feature. Three skulls in the bonus can also trigger the Route 777 Fortune Wheel.
This demo version is available to play for free and is intended for players who want to practice before playing for real money. The paytable shown in the review lists coin awards up to 3,000, while the presentation combines retro pinball-style sound effects with a road-trip setting leading toward San Francisco.
