Diamond Tales: The Ugly Duckling by Greentube is a fantasy-themed slot based on Hans Christian Andersen’s tale. It uses a 5-reel, 3-row layout with 40 paylines and high volatility, with bet levels from 0.4 to 40. The demo version is available to play for free, allowing players to practice before playing for real money.
The game presents card symbols alongside animal portraits, including ducks, swans, cats, dogs and roosters, in a storybook-style setting. Special symbols include a wild marked with W, glowing BONUS tiles and Diamond Heart icons with multipliers such as x6, x12 and x216. The reel set is framed by a chapter system that tracks progress through the feature structure.
Feature panels describe Snap Drop, which gives one re-spin with only multipliers, the Diamond Tales feature with wins of up to 50,000x bet, and the Swan feature that unlocks later in the story. A buy bonus option also appears in the interface, while the main play screen shows spin, auto, turbo and max bet controls.
