Beautiful Bones is a 5-reel, 243-payline video slot by Microgaming, with a Day of the Dead theme built around skull portraits, roses and ornate gold frames. The game uses a standard 5x3 layout and a mix of themed symbols plus 9, J, Q, K and A card icons. Its published RTP is 96.55%, with bets ranging from 0.3 to 15.
The feature set includes stacked symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4, Wild symbols that substitute for most other icons, and a Wild Spin Again mechanic that can retrigger. Scatter symbols appear in the base game and contribute to a Sugar Skull collection meter, which is used to unlock bonus play. The help screens also show Wild Hearts, which can substitute for all symbols except scatters during feature rounds.
Players can use the demo version to play for free and practice before playing for real money. The bonus structure shown in the game information includes 10 Sugar Skulls for 10 free spins with a 3x multiplier, and 30 Sugar Skulls for 18 free spins with a 5x multiplier.
