Codex of Fortune by NetEnt is a 5-reel, 4-row slot with 40 fixed paylines and high volatility. The game uses a Fortune Wins system built around collectible key symbols, Wild substitutions, Free Spins and Fortune Re-Spins. According to the available information, wins can be built through the base paylines and through the bonus progression feature.
In the bonus mechanics, collected symbols fill a meter and move the player up a seven-level Fortune Wins ladder, with five steps at each level. Keys can be saved during Fortune Re-Spins and then used later in Free Spins to raise the Fortune Wins level. The feature can produce additional win multipliers, with stated top values of up to 200x in Re-Spins and up to 2000x in Free Spins.
This demo version is available to play for free, allowing players to review the layout, symbols and bonus rules before playing for real money. The design is set against an ornate fantasy background with jewel-toned symbols, including card icons and a clearly marked Wild symbol.
