Mercy of the Gods

Mercy of the Gods is a 2021 slot from NetEnt built around an Ancient Egypt theme. The game uses a five-reel, three-row layout with 20 paylines, a 96.64% RTP and stakes from 0.20. Symbols include Tutankhamen, Horus Falcons, Scarab Beetles, standard card ranks and an Archaeologist Explorer.

The demo version lets players play for free and practice before playing for real money. The main features are the Eye of Horus scatter, which can trigger 5, 8 or 12 free spins, and the Golden Heart bonus symbols, which activate the Gift of Wealth bonus game. In that round, three re-spins are awarded, locked symbols stay in place, and the aim is to complete rows for Minor, Major or progressive Mega jackpots.

Wild symbols substitute for all symbols except scatters and bonus symbols, and they also drive a re-spin feature in which the wild moves down each row on successive spins until it disappears. During free spins, wilds become double wilds, adding another layer to the slot’s bonus structure.
