Songkran Splash by PG Soft is a five-reel video slot inspired by Thailand’s Songkran New Year festival. The game uses an unusual reel layout, with 3 rows on reels 1 and 5, 4 rows on reels 2 and 4, and 5 rows on reel 3. Its reported RTP is 96.69%, and the volatility is high.
The main mechanic is increasing multipliers on reels 2, 3 and 4. When a winning symbol appears on one of these reels, the relevant multiplier can become active or rise in value, which may affect later wins in the round. This creates a structure focused on repeated symbol hits rather than fixed paylines.
A demo version is available, allowing players to play for free and practice before playing for real money. The slot’s theme is based on the water festival associated with Songkran, with visual elements drawn from the holiday’s traditions and celebrations.
