Shanghai Respin is a five-reel slot with 25 paylines and a Shanghai city theme built around lanterns, dragons, coins and street-market imagery. The game uses a standard left-to-right payline structure, with a wild symbol shown as a Shanghai skyline silhouette that substitutes for other symbols. A paytable is available on screen before each spin.
The demo version lets players play for free and practice before playing for real money. Betting is set per line, and the reels are designed for short, straightforward rounds with wins evaluated after each spin. The return to player is listed at 96.5%, with medium volatility and a balance of regular smaller wins and larger payouts.
Bonus features include an automatic respin when three or more wild symbols appear, a free spins round triggered by five or more Dragon Scale symbols, and 10 free spins with 2x win multipliers. A jackpot feature is linked to three Shanghai Lantern symbols on consecutive reels, adding a further prize route to the slot game.
