New Year Rich is a 5-reel slot from SimplePlay with 30 paylines and a medium-high volatility profile. The game is themed around Chinese New Year and uses the Bombing Reels feature, where any reel showing a win is blasted by firecrackers before being refilled with new symbols. Its stated RTP is 95.87%.
The free game feature includes five selectable options, each offering different symbols and a different number of free spins. This makes the bonus round a central part of the gameplay, with results shaped by the chosen option and the reel refills that can follow winning combinations.
A New Year Rich demo version is available for those who want to play for free and practice before playing for real money. The slot uses a 3x5 layout and is designed for players looking for a straightforward review of its core mechanics, bonus games and payline structure.
