Gold Rush Gus is a five-reel, three-row online slot with 25 fixed paylines and an American West mining theme. The game features prospectors, ore carts, golden nuggets, gemstone symbols, Wilds and Scatters. In the demo version, players can play for free and observe the base-game layout before playing for real money.
Special features include Wild symbols that substitute for regular symbols, while Scatter symbols trigger 10 free spins. During free spins, a random multiplier of 2x to 5x can apply to winning combinations, with the multiplier increasing on consecutive spins. The Gold Rush bonus round is activated by five Gold Rush Gus symbols and asks players to choose a gold mine for cash prizes or extra free spins.
Gold Rush Gus was released by Microgaming in 2018 and uses HTML5 graphics with a cartoon mining style. The game includes a maximum theoretical win of 1,000x the bet, and the demo mode allows players to practice before playing for real money.
