Book of Dizzy: upcoming slot by Degen Studios

Book of Dizzy keeps rewriting its own setup as the chase develops. The game begins on a 5×3 grid with 10 paylines, but Expanding Reels can increase the layout to 5×4 or 5×5, while Expanding Symbols can cover entire reels and still pay even when gaps separate them.

Three levels of Free Spins build on those mechanics with larger reel layouts, additional Expanding Symbols and symbol removal, all on the road to a 10,000x max win.

Book of Dizzy Base Gameplay

Expanding Symbols Can Cover Entire Reels

During any base-game spin, a random symbol can be selected as the Expanding Symbol. When the feature activates, every selected Expanding Symbol stretches across its entire reel.

These expanded symbols can still form wins even when they are separated by reels that have not expanded.

Expanding Reels Change the Grid

The reel layout itself can also change during the base game. The standard 5×3 / 10-payline setup can expand to 5×4 / 15 paylines or 5×5 / 20 paylines, with additional rows appearing before the reels stop.

Expanding Reels and Expanding Symbols can trigger on the same spin, allowing both mechanics to reshape the result together.

Three Free Spins Levels Rewrite the Bonus

Landing 3, 4 or 5 Wild Scatter symbols unlocks one of three Free Spins features. Each level awards 10 Free Spins, but stronger triggers bring additional mechanics.

Open The Book, triggered by 3 Wild Scatters, selects one random Expanding Symbol before the feature begins. That symbol remains active throughout the bonus.

Book of Dizzy Open The Book Feature

Turn The Page requires 4 Wild Scatters and includes everything from Open The Book, while also removing one random symbol and playing the feature on a 5×4 grid with 15 paylines.

Master Spellbook, triggered by 5 Wild Scatters, upgrades the feature again: the highest-paying premium symbol also becomes an Expanding Symbol, and Free Spins run on the full 5×5 grid with 20 paylines.

Retriggers Add Spins and Expanding Symbols

During Free Spins, Wild Scatters can land only on reels 1, 3 and 5.

Landing 3 Wild Scatters during the bonus awards 5 additional Free Spins and adds one more Expanding Symbol, allowing the feature to keep developing after it has already started.

Pre-Bonus Gamble Can Strengthen the Feature

Before Free Spins begin, players can gamble for three different enhancements: increased reel height, removal of low-paying symbols and an upgrade to the selected Expanding Symbol.

Each enhancement can be gambled separately and in any order. A successful gamble applies the chosen upgrade, while a failed gamble forfeits the entire Free Spins Bonus. Players can choose Collect at any point and start the feature with the enhancements already secured.

Buy Bonus and Activate Options Offer Direct Routes

Open The Book can be purchased for 75x the bet, while Turn The Page costs 150x. A Mystery Buy costs 300x and randomly awards Open The Book, Turn The Page or Master Spellbook.

Two Activate options are also available. Bonus Boost, costing 3x, increases the Free Spins trigger chance by more than five times. Dizzy's Spin, at 100x, starts the spin on a 5×5 layout with two Expanding Symbols and one symbol already removed from the reels.

When the Spellbook Rewrites the Reels

Book of Dizzy makes the changing reel setup the centre of its progression. A base spin can grow vertically, symbols can expand across entire reels, and stronger Free Spins levels progressively remove symbols and introduce additional Expanding Symbols.

Add the Pre-Bonus Gamble and retriggers into that structure, and the game can keep rewriting its own conditions while the chase continues towards the 10,000x maximum win.
