Calaveras Fortuna Base GameplayCalavera Wild Conversion
The Calavera Wild Conversion feature activates when 1, 2 or 3 Conversion symbols appear. Conversion symbols are limited to reels 1, 3 and 5.
Each Conversion symbol performs two actions: it converts itself into a Wild and changes a randomly selected symbol into another Wild. When several Conversion symbols appear together, each one targets a different symbol, allowing multiple Wild conversions within the same spin.
Calaveras Fortuna Wild ConversionFree Spins Keep the Conversion Active
Calavera Wild Conversion remains part of the game during the Free Spins feature, with the conversion mechanic activating on every Free Spin. This carries the game's main Wild-generating mechanic directly into its bonus round rather than replacing it with an unrelated feature.
The in-game rules also specify that the Free Spins feature cannot be retriggered once it has begun.
Calaveras Fortuna Free SpinsFeature Spin™, Buy Feature and Gamble
Feature Spin™ provides an alternative route to the Free Spins feature. Its pre-game uses active and inactive Free Spins symbols, and matching 3 active Free Spins symbols triggers the bonus.
Calaveras Fortuna Feature SpinThe Buy Feature offers another direct route, immediately initiating a round of 10 Free Spins. Its published RTP is 93.32%, compared with 93.25% for Feature Spin™ and 93.16% for the standard game.
Calaveras Fortuna also includes an optional Gamble feature after eligible wins. Choosing the correct card colour doubles the gamble amount, while correctly selecting the suit quadruples it. Gamble can be repeated up to five times.
Wilds Take Centre Stage in Calaveras Fortuna
Calaveras Fortuna keeps its feature set centred on one clear idea: creating additional Wilds. The Calavera conversion mechanic connects the base game and Free Spins, while Feature Spin™ and Buy Feature provide alternative paths into the bonus round without changing the core focus of the slot.
