Ding Dong Death Builds Its Horror Cascades Around a Five-Level Death Meter

Ding Dong Death takes Nolimit City's familiar dark humour into a grotesque clubhouse populated by a collection of not-quite-dead characters. Behind the horror presentation sits a cascade-driven feature system centred on a five-level Death Meter, transforming character symbols and a global win multiplier that can continue to develop as the round progresses.

Death Meter Evolves Every Third Avalanche

The Death Meter is active in both the main game and bonus modes and contains five levels. Every third avalanche unlocks another level, converting all instances of a designated character symbol into Wilds for the remainder of the round.

The fifth level introduces the global multiplier. The first time Level 5 is unlocked, the multiplier becomes x2; each subsequent Level 5 unlock increases it by +1. Level 5 can also activate one of three additional effects: a Mental Patient transformation, an xSplit® Wild conversion or an xNudge® Wild conversion. After one of these effects occurs, Level 5 becomes locked again.

xNudge® Wilds Build Their Own Multipliers

An xNudge® Wild drops toward the bottom of its reel and gains +1 to its payout multiplier for every symbol it passes. Once it reaches the bottom, it expands upward across the entire reel.

If split symbols are encountered during that expansion, they increase its multiplier further. Consecutive xNudge Wild multipliers participating in a win are added together — the official example combines x3 and x1 into x4. The xNudge multiplier applies only to wins involving that Wild.

The related xSplit® Wild mechanic can split and double symbols across its row, except Scatters. If an xNudge Wild itself is split, its multiplier is doubled.

Knock Knock Creates Mental Patient Symbols

The Knock Knock mechanic can trigger in the main game when at least three identical symbols align horizontally but do not form a winning combination.

Those triggering symbols are removed and Mental Patient symbols appear in the middle positions of the alignment. Any multiplier already attached to a replaced middle position is transferred to the new Mental Patient. Other eligible symbols then explode, creating another collapse while Scatter, Wild and Mental Patient symbols remain protected from that removal.

Landing 3, 4 or 5 Scatter symbols awards 7, 9 or 11 Ding Dong Spins respectively. Importantly, the Death Meter and global win multiplier do not reset when the bonus starts.

Each additional Scatter that lands during the feature awards +1 spin, allowing the round to extend while the Death Meter continues its progression.

Landing 6 Scatters instead awards 13 Ding Dong Death Spins.

This enhanced version keeps the regular Ding Dong Spins mechanics but changes the way Death Meter progression interacts with the global multiplier. Every unlocked Death Meter level increases the global multiplier by +1, including Level 5. In addition, the multiplier of an xNudge Wild participating in a win is added to the global win multiplier.

Boosters Offer Several Ways into Stronger Setups

Nolimit City also provides a series of optional Booster configurations. The Bonus Booster costs 2× the base bet and makes Ding Dong Spins or Ding Dong Death Spins three times more likely to trigger.

Other Boosters guarantee specific setups: Death Meter Level 3 costs 50×, Level 4 costs 100×, Level 5 costs 200×, while the xNudge® Booster costs 300× and guarantees an xNudge Wild on reel 3 or 4.

The separate xTra™ Spin can occasionally offer an additional purchased spin after a round. It preserves the existing Death Meter levels and global multiplier, with the price calculated from their current state.
