Two genres collide in Loot Box Legends, a Degen Studios release built around the same obsession in two very different worlds: opening the next box and finding out what's inside. Before every spin, players can choose between RPG Mode, where Loot Boxes reveal direct cash prizes, and FPS Mode, where winning Loot Boxes become Expanding Wild Reel multipliers.

The Player Select screen lets players switch between RPG and FPS before any spin. Both modes use the same Loot Box reveal sequence, with possible outcomes cycling through the reveal window before slowing down and landing on the final prize.

RPG Mode Turns Loot Boxes into Cash Prizes

In RPG Mode, every Loot Box reveals a cash value awarded as a multiple of the total bet. Multiple Loot Boxes can appear on the same reel and each one opens separately, with possible values ranging from 1x to 25,000x.

Revealing the top 25,000x Loot Box awards the game's maximum win.

RPG Free Spins scale according to the number of Scatters. Starter Stash triggers with 3 Scatters and awards 8 Free Spins, Epic Inventory uses 4 Scatters for 10 spins, while Legendary Vault requires 5 Scatters and awards 12.

The higher tiers also improve the Loot Box setup. Epic Inventory raises the minimum Loot Box value to 5x, while Legendary Vault guarantees a Gold Loot Box on the opening spin, with that guaranteed box worth at least 50x, and increases the minimum Loot Box value to 10x.

Collectors and Multipliers Upgrade RPG Free Spins

Collector symbols gather the values of Loot Boxes currently visible on the reels. Standard Loot Boxes resolve first, then the Collector gathers those values and transforms into its own Loot Box carrying the collected amount.

Multiplier symbols apply 2x, 3x, 5x or 10x to visible Loot Box values. They resolve after Collectors, and after applying their effect they also transform into cash-prize Loot Boxes.

FPS Mode Converts Loot into Wild Reels

FPS Mode replaces direct cash Loot Box prizes with Expanding Wild Reel multipliers. A Loot Box only opens when it belongs to a winning combination.

If several winning Loot Boxes appear on the same reel, their revealed values are added together and the combined amount becomes a single Expanding Wild Reel multiplier. Available FPS values range from 1x to 1,000x, and multipliers on different reels are added together when they contribute to the same win.

FPS Free Spins follow the same 3-, 4- and 5-Scatter progression. Locked and Loaded awards 8 spins, Full Arsenal awards 10, and Legendary Loadout awards 12.

The stronger features increase minimum Wild values and the presence of Sticky Wilds. Legendary Loadout guarantees a Sticky Wild on the first spin with a minimum value of 10x, while all other Wild values in that feature start from at least 5x.

Sticky Wilds Hold Their Value

Sticky Wilds remain active throughout FPS Free Spins.

When several Wild Loot Boxes occupy the same reel, their values are combined. If at least one of those Wilds is Sticky, the entire combined reel value becomes Sticky, allowing a stronger multiplier to remain active for subsequent spins.

Buy Bonus Opens Either Route Directly

Each world has its own direct bonus entries. Starter Stash and Locked and Loaded cost 85x the bet, while Epic Inventory and Full Arsenal cost 300x.

The mystery options — Chest of Fate in RPG and Classified Drop in FPS — cost 380x and award a random 3-, 4- or 5-Scatter Free Spins feature.

Two additional Activate options are also available. Bonus Boost, priced at 3x, increases the chance of triggering any Free Spins Bonus by more than four times, while Loot Box Spins costs 100x and guarantees at least one winning combination and at least one Loot Box symbol.
