Once Again upon a Time™ by BetSoft is a 5-reel, 3-row video slot built around a fairytale kingdom theme. The game uses 25 paylines, very high volatility, an RTP of 96.11%, and a reported hit rate of 23.67%. Players can use the demo version to play for free and practice before playing for real money.
The main features centre on the Hold & Win mechanic, triggered by 6 BONUS symbols or by 5 BONUS symbols with 1 BOOST symbol. The feature starts with 3 respins, locks winning symbols in place, and includes a Mystery Bonus that can reveal MINI, MINOR, MAJOR, MEGA or BOOST. A Wild symbol substitutes for most symbols, while stacked mystery symbols appear on the reels in the base game.
Three SCATTER symbols award 8 free spins with high-paying symbols only. The game also offers a Buy Bonus option for instant access to Hold & Win. Visible jackpot tiers include MINI, MINOR, MAJOR, MEGA and GRAND, with a maximum win shown as up to 12,285x.
