The Tipsy Tourist is a five-reel, 20-payline video slot from BetSoft, released in 2016 and set against a Miami beach holiday backdrop. The game uses a high-volatility model, with an RTP of 97.10% and scatter pays included in the feature set. It can be played in demo version form to play for free before choosing to practice before playing for real money.
The paytable combines themed picture symbols, such as the tourist characters, travel tickets, shell and starfish icons, with low-value card symbols. A wild symbol substitutes for all symbols except the beach ball scatter and the red cup bonus symbol. The free spins mode is linked to scatter symbols, and during free spins the wild becomes “clingy”, staying on the reels once it lands.
Another feature is the Double Up mini-game, where a win can be risked on a red-or-black card choice to try to increase the payout. The bonus round is presented as an interactive drinking contest in the same beach setting, giving the slot a strong focus on feature play rather than only base-game spins.
