The Tipsy Tourist: Christmas Vacation by BetSoft is a five-reel, 20-payline slot with a Christmas vacation theme set against a tropical backdrop. The game uses medium-high volatility, an RTP of 96.06%, and a listed hit rate of 23.87%. It is presented as a free demo version, allowing players to play for free and practice before playing for real money.
The main feature is the Hold & Win bonus, triggered by five or more Bonus symbols together with a Collect symbol. The bonus starts with nine respins and can include cash values, jackpot prizes, +1 Spin symbols, and Expand +1 Spin symbols. A Cooler Box Bonus also appears in the base game, while Wild symbols substitute for most regular symbols on reels 2 to 5.
Additional mechanics include stacked Mystery symbols, which reveal the same paying symbol across a reel before the spin, and a Buy Feature for direct access to the Hold & Win round. The slot advertises wins of up to 5,000x the wager, with bonus prizes ranging from Mini through Grand jackpot levels.
