Avalon Gold by ELK Studios is a six-reel, four-row slot with 4,096 ways to win in the standard game. It uses a cascading drop mechanic, where winning symbols are removed and new ones fall into place. The game includes big symbols in 2x2, 3x3 and 4x4 sizes, along with expanding Wilds that can grow when part of a winning combination.
The free demo version lets players play for free and practice before playing for real money. A key feature is the Mystery Box symbol, which activates when five or more are visible and can reveal payout symbols, Wilds or Avalon features. Three or more bonus symbols trigger the Free Drops bonus game, where Mystery Boxes can persist between drops and the feature can be retriggered.
Avalon Gold has medium-high volatility, an RTP of 94.0%, and a bet range from 0.20 to 100. The X-iter mode offers several entry options, including a higher-risk bonus with persistent Mystery Boxes. The presentation uses Arthurian and medieval imagery, with fantasy symbols, coin wins and a royal theme throughout.
