Cathedral 9 by ELK Studios is a gothic-themed slot built on a 6-reel, 5-row grid with a separate feature reel above the main play area. The game uses cascading-style symbol movement and includes Wilds, a global multiplier, symbol collection, synced symbols, and state-based features. A demo version is available for players who want to play for free and practice before playing for real money.
Special symbols include Mystery Coffins, which reveal matching symbols and can add multiplier value to the global total, and an Entombed feature that can replace symbols across the grid with a payout symbol. The Holy Collect mechanic carries state between rounds and can add 3 to 6 coffins to the grid when triggered. Feature symbols from the upper reel become active when they drop into the main grid.
Three or more bonus symbols trigger the free drop bonus game, with each bonus symbol awarding 2, 3, or 4 free drops. Landing bonus symbols during the bonus adds more drops, while matching all 9 payout symbol types activates the super bonus, played with super mystery coffins only. The slot advertises a potential maximum win of 25,000x the bet.
