Nightmaker by ELK Studios is a 5-reel, 5-row slot with a dark fantasy theme and a feature row above the main grid. The game uses oversized 3x5 symbols across the central reels, along with wilds, symbol multipliers, symbol splits and symbol substitutions. The base game also includes a Rattle feature, which can place up to three large symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4.
Bonus symbols trigger 8 free spins, with a random symbol type receiving a persistent multiplier and the four corners of the grid unlocked. If at least one bonus symbol is a super bonus symbol, the super bonus round is activated, where all super bonus symbols become jumping wilds. Beast Spins can also appear when bonus symbols land in all four corners during the bonus game, leaving only large symbols active on the central reels.
The demo version allows players to play for free and practice before playing for real money. Nightmaker is presented as a high-volatility slot with a stated potential win of up to 50,000x, built around column-based features, wild behaviour and special bonus rounds.
