The Wiz by ELK Studios is a five-reel slot with 178 ways to win and medium-high volatility. The game uses a fantasy theme built around a wizard, magical artefacts and a dragon wild. In the demo version, players can review the paytable and mechanics before deciding to play for free or use it to practice before playing for real money.
The main feature is the Wizspins bonus. Landing two or more bonus symbols triggers the feature, with the number of spins depending on how many appear. During Wizspins, low-value symbols convert into higher-value symbols, while the dragon acts as a moving wild with a multiplier of x2 to x5. If multiple dragon wilds land on the same payline, their multipliers are added together.
The base game also includes the multiplier wild dragon, which substitutes for regular symbols except the bonus symbol. The symbol set includes the wizard bonus icon, potion, moon, sun, book, orb, key and wand, with winning combinations paid across adjacent reels.
