Thoro by ELK Studios is a five-reel, four-row slot set in Norse mythology, with a 178-payline structure and medium-high volatility. The game uses lightning symbols, walking wilds, respins, multipliers, and bonus symbols. The stated RTP is 94%, and the bet range runs from 0.2 to 100.
In the demo version, players can play for free and practice before playing for real money. The Bifrost bonus game starts with three bonus symbols in view, while Thoro acts as a walking wild that moves left and can trigger respins. During these respins, bonus and lightning symbols remain sticky, and Mjolnir can raise the Lightning paytable or Thoro's multiplier.
Other features include the Thunder Strike sequence, where Thoro and Loki interact on the reels, leaving wilds behind as Loki symbols are removed. Lightning symbols pay scatter wins through a separate paytable, with 12 symbols linked to the maximum win potential of 10,000x the bet. ELK Studios also includes X-iter modes, including options for a higher bonus chance and a Super Bonus entry.
