Merry Scary Christmas by Mascot Gaming is a 5-reel, 3-row slot with 10 paylines and medium volatility. The game has an RTP of 95.2% and a bet range from 0.2 to 50. Players can use the demo version to play for free and practice before playing for real money.
The main feature is Santa’s Gift, where a set of five different Gifts can trigger one of several outcomes. These include a Wild Symbol with up to x5 multiplier, a cash prize conversion, or a Free Spins allocation. During Free Spins, extra Gifts are added to the reels, creating further chances for the same feature to activate again.
There are also Risk and Buy options linked to Free Spins. Risk allows a player to gamble a win for access to a more expensive Free Spins series, while Buy enables a Free Spins round on a non-winning bet. Merry Scary Christmas was released in December 2020 and was later named Slot of the Month in February 2021.
