Viva Fiesta Combines Three Skull Coin Powers in a Mexican Hold & Win Fiesta
Colour, coins and supernatural party guests take over the reels in Viva Fiesta, a Mexican celebration built around three different Skull Coin powers. Green, blue and red Coins can open the Double Reel, Extra Spin and Multipliers mini-games individually — or combine two or even all three in the same bonus. Once the party moves into its respin round, golden Skull Coins lock into place, jackpot prizes can join the grid and every new Coin keeps the celebration alive. Red Rake Gaming has scheduled Viva Fiesta for October 15, 2026 on a 5×3 layout with 10 paylines.

Coloured Skull Coins Decide Which Powers Join the Party
The three coloured Skull Coins are tied to different mini-games. A green Skull Coin can activate Double Reel, a blue Skull Coin can activate Extra Spin, and a red Skull Coin can activate Multipliers. More importantly, these features are not mutually exclusive: two or all three can trigger from the same spin and work together inside the resulting bonus. The official game page specifically highlights the possibility of unlocking one, two or all three mini-games.
In the base game, Skull Coins can carry values of 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 8x, 10x, 15x, 30x or 100x total bet.
Hold & Win Starts with Three Respins
The Skull Coins mini-game begins with three respins. Golden Skull Coins remain on the grid, and every new one resets the respin counter to three. The round finishes when no respins remain or all 15 positions have been filled.
At the end, the values of all Golden Skull Coins are added together. Mini, Minor and Major symbols award fixed prizes worth 15x, 50x and 150x, while filling the complete 5×3 bonus grid awards the 1,000x Grand.
Extra Spin Gives Every New Coin More Time
The blue Extra Spin feature increases the starting respin count from three to four. It also changes the reset rule for the remainder of the feature: every new Golden Skull Coin takes the counter back to four rather than three.
This is a simple change, but it gives every new landing another full spin of breathing room and becomes particularly useful when combined with the other Skull Coin powers.
Double Reel Opens a Second Independent Grid
The green Double Reel feature brings a second reel set into the mini-game. Golden Skull Coins are duplicated onto the additional board when the feature starts, but from there the two grids operate with independent respin counters. Red Rake describes the mechanic as a mini-game played across two independent reel sets.
Instead of simply increasing one Coin value or adding another spin, Double Reel effectively gives the bonus a second board on which the Hold & Win action can develop.
Multipliers Keep Building on Golden Skull Coins
The red Multipliers feature randomly applies 2x, 3x or 5x multipliers to Golden Skull Coins already on the reels. A Coin can receive only one new multiplier on a particular spin, but later multipliers landing on the same position are added to the multiplier already there.
For example, the gameplay screenshot shows Golden Skull Coins carrying x2 and x4 modifiers as the bonus develops. The final accumulated multiplier is applied to the corresponding Coin when the mini-game ends.
Three Colours Can Turn One Fiesta into a Much Bigger Celebration
Viva Fiesta gets most interesting when its three coloured powers stop acting alone. Extra Spin can give the respin round more time, Double Reel can spread the action across another grid, and Multipliers can keep strengthening the prizes that survive on the board. Trigger two or three colours together and the same fiesta suddenly has more reels, more time and more valuable Coins in play — all while the 1,000x Grand waits for a completely filled grid.
