Gold Nuggets is a 3x3 casino slot by Booongo built around a Hold & Win bonus format. The main game uses bonus symbols rather than traditional paylines, and three bonus symbols on the central row activate the feature. Players can use the demo version to play for free and practice before playing for real money.
Once the bonus round starts, symbols that land stay in place while three respins are awarded. New symbols reset the counter. The feature includes Gold Nugget money symbols with values from x1 to x8, a Collect symbol that gathers the values on screen and applies a random multiplier from x2 to x20, plus mystery symbols that can reveal bonus symbols or jackpot prizes.
The game also includes MINI, MINOR, MAJOR and GRAND jackpot prizes, with the top award set at x1,000 the bet. Its presentation uses bright gold-themed graphics and a light soundtrack, while the meter above the reels tracks symbols needed to trigger the bonus round.
