Sun of Egypt 4 by Booongo is a five-reel, four-row slot with 25 paylines and an ancient Egyptian theme. The game uses desert scenery, pyramids and gold-toned symbols, while the demo version lets players play for free and practice before playing for real money.
The main mechanics centre on bonus symbols shown as suns, which can collect values through the BOOST feature without waiting for a separate bonus round. A boost symbol may apply multipliers of x3, x4 or x5 to the values currently on screen. The mystery symbol can change into bonus, boost, super or jackpot symbols, with jackpot awards including MINI, MINOR, MAJOR and GRAND.
Six or more bonus, jackpot or mystery symbols trigger the Hold & Win bonus round with three respins. New symbols reset the respin count, while super symbols can open a SUPER BONUS GAME where all symbols are upgraded. Free spins increase the frequency of bonus and boost symbols, and a meter in both the base game and free spins can award entry to the Hold & Win feature.
